The long-pulse diode laser at 980 nm is effective for treating a wide variety of small vascular abnormalities (cherry angioma, linear telangiectases), for deep and thick vascular lesions and leg veins.

The 980 Diode Laser Vascular Removal Machine utilizes a 980nm wavelength semiconductor fiber-coupled laser, which employs fiber coupling technology to transmit laser energy. This laser penetrates deep into blood vessels, leveraging selective photothermal principles. The target color group is oxyhemoglobin in red blood cells within the vessels.
Upon absorbing laser energy, heat is transmitted to surrounding endothelial cells, causing damage to vessel walls and breaking down hemoglobin into small molecules. These molecules are then absorbed by tissues, aligning with skin barrier science. Simultaneously, the skin undergoes self-repair and regeneration, absorbing crushed hemoglobin and capillaries. Newly grown skin tissue covers the vacated space, effectively achieving the purpose of eliminating red blood discoloration.
This treatment is contraindicated for varicose veins, including blue or green veins on the legs.
